The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment and systems for various construction projects, including commercial and residential buildings. Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and residential construction projects, including power distribution, low voltage, and lighting systems.
- Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
- Use state-of-the-art software tools, including Revit, Autocad, and Bluebeam, for electrical system design and circuit analysis.
- Review and stamp/seal electrical engineering documents, ensuring they meet all necessary standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the electrical components of construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure electrical safety and code compliance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and integrate them into operations and activities.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering in the construction industry, specifically in commercial and residential projects.
- Proficient in electrical systems design, circuit analysis, power systems, and electrical safety management.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in using software tools such as Revit, Autocad, and Bluebeam.
- Exceptional skills in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Demonstrated experience in stamping/sealing electrical engineering documents.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
