INTRODUCTION

Power your future with Qualus as a Senior Cost Engineer in our Program Management organization. A Senior Cost Engineer provides cost management services, including budgeting, bid management, cost forecasting and reporting, budget management and control, change management, contract administration, close-out administration, procurement management, earned value management, and value engineering. The Senior Cost Engineer supports critical and complex cost management initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain Monthly Forecasting, Invoicing, and Cost Reporting.
- Experience with Project Controls concepts such as project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closeout are needed.
- Specific experience with Cost Engineering concepts such as project estimating, forecasting, cost controls, and variance reporting are also needed.
- Ability to develop and maintain budgets.
- Provide various Project information reports.
- A complete understanding of the Accrual Processes, invoice review, and validation are required.
- Responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Having ERP financial experience is preferred.
- Requires self-starting skills. Excellent communication skills with proven decision-making skills and the ability to function in a large corporate environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of project cost control experience, including cash flow forecasting and analysis.
- Experience with enterprise cost management systems.
- Transmission & Distribution experience.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
- Experience working on utility capital projects.
- Project Cost Control: 7+ years.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: 5+ years.
- Project Budget Reporting: 5+.
- Accruals & Invoice Management: 7+ years.
