Technical Solutions Architect Jobs in Boston: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a technical solutions architect job in Boston?
Boston's strongest hiring comes from enterprise software companies in the Seaport, financial services firms in Back Bay, and life sciences technology vendors in Cambridge and Kendall Square. Candidates who stand out typically combine hands-on cloud or infrastructure depth with consultative client-facing skills. Familiarity with the healthcare IT and biotech vendor ecosystems gives Boston applicants a clear edge over generalist candidates from other markets.
Which companies hire technical solutions architects in Boston?
Companies currently hiring technical solutions architects in Boston include Amazon Web Services, Deloitte, and Humana, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Boston's employer mix leans toward enterprise software vendors, managed services providers, and large financial and healthcare organizations that maintain in-house presales or customer engineering teams.
Are there remote technical solutions architect jobs in Boston?
Yes, though availability depends on the role type: pure presales and cloud architecture positions are often remote-friendly, while roles requiring on-site client engagement or data center work are typically in person.
