Our team designs software used to automate the validation of Tesla circuit boards. These circuit boards control hundreds of devices (motors, sensors, LEDs, etc) across all electrical systems (seats, doors, HVAC, powertrain, safety, chassis, lighting, etc) in Tesla’s autonomous robotaxi vehicles.
What You'll Do
- Design, debug, and deploy software to automate the validation of Tesla circuit boards
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, reliability, and manufacturing teams to define test plans
- Write drivers to communicate with Integrated Circuits (Ethernet, SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN, etc.)
- Understand circuit board schematics & technical documentation
- Deliver robust, production-quality code
- Use AI tools to rapidly accelerate the above
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in Python programming
- Strong proficiency in using AI tools to rapidly accelerate software development
- Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals: Analog & digital circuits (MOSFETs, op-amps, regulators, gate drivers, microcontrollers, power dissipation, etc.)
- Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to tackle open-ended challenges using first-principles
- Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, electronic loads, multimeters, etc.)
