Serve as first-line responder, injury manager, and liaison for youth and collegiate athletes in a dynamic sports environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or Physiology.
- Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- Two (2) years of experience in Athletic Training.

- Provides on-site injury prevention, taping, bracing, and warm-up supervision before practices/games.
- Responds to acute injuries and emergencies during practices and games.
- Conducts injury evaluations, coordinates referrals, and communicates with parents, coaches, and physicians.
- Manages concussion protocols, return-to-play progression, and hydration/heat illness monitoring.
- Travels with teams as needed, often working afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Conduct musculoskeletal assessments using clinical and functional testing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Coordinate referrals to physicians, physical therapists, or specialists when necessary.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to promote healing.
- Track progress and adjust plans based on patient/athlete recovery status.
- Educate on injury prevention and safe return-to-activity protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and organizational policies.
- Communicate regularly with medical professionals, coaches, parents, and/or patients.
- Serve as a resource for injury prevention and athletic health education.
- Determine fitness for participation pre-season and post-injury.
- Assist in the selection and fitting of protective equipment.
- Maintain an effective and efficient athletic training room, equipment, and related implements.
