INTRODUCTION
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale healthcare technology modernization initiative focused on transforming legacy systems into a more modern, configurable platform environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across both business and technical teams, reviewing project deliverables, validating requirements, and helping ensure solutions align with business needs and contractual expectations.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and PMO teams
- Review and support project and program deliverables
- Assist with business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation
- Help business teams understand proposed vendor solutions and system impacts
- Track project artifacts, risks, issues, and action items
- Support meetings, reporting, presentations, and overall project coordination
- Participate in software development/configuration efforts across multiple methodologies
- Assist with CMS reporting and certification-related activities
- Manage communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst in large enterprise environments
- Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, MMIS, or healthcare payer systems
- Background working on large-scale modernization or multi-vendor projects
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- 7–10+ years of Senior Business Analyst experience
- Experience with Visio, MS Project, Office 365, SharePoint, and Teams/Webex
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7–10+ years of Senior Business Analyst experience
- Experience with business process modeling and process improvement
- Experience working in large matrixed or multi-contractor organizations
- Technical writing experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
