Job Summary
The Intern supports day-to-day manufacturing and production activities while gaining hands-on experience in a factory or operations environment. The role focuses on learning standard production processes, safety practices, and quality requirements while contributing to operational efficiency.
Education & Experience
Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate program in a relevant field. Prior academic, project, or internship exposure is an advantage but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
Supports daily shop-floor and production activities by following standard operating procedures, safety, and quality guidelines. The role involves assisting production teams in meeting output targets, performing basic data recording and housekeeping tasks, and participating in training, continuous improvement, and problem-solving activities while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Skills/ Ability Generic (High Level)
The role requires a willingness to learn and follow instructions, along with basic teamwork and communication skills. The intern should demonstrate attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a production or shop-floor environment. Basic problem-solving, adaptability, and time-management skills are also important.
The hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 - $32.00. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
