Philip and Michael first met in the maternity ward of a South Florida hospital on June 26, 2012, the day each of their sons were born. What began as two men in a garage, 626 now employs more than 100 employees nationwide and has emerged as one of the fastest-growing third-party company in the healthcare technology management market.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on technical backgrounds—including retired HVAC technicians, electricians, computer repair technicians, electronics manufacturing specialists, aerospace or automotive technicians, and consumer electronics technicians—who enjoy mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and working with their hands in a production environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Perform mechanical assembly using bills of material (BOMs), drawings, and work instructions
- Utilize fine motor skills for precision assembly tasks
- Fabricate components using hand tools and standard shop equipment
- Apply basic AC/DC electrical knowledge during assembly and testing processes
- Perform soldering of electrical components in accordance with quality standards
- Use a multimeter for electrical testing, continuity checks, and basic diagnostics
- Measure and verify component dimensions using calipers and precision measurement tools
- Follow company procedures for spare parts management, including ordering, usage, returns, inventory counts, and stock control
- Support adherence to quality, safety, and production standards at all times
- HVAC experience is a plus
