JOB TITLE: Project Manager | (IT Operations & Maintenance)

LOCATION: Remote – DMV Based

POSITON SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of a large-scale IT Operations & Maintenance (O&M) program supporting enterprise web applications, data platforms, and cloud-based systems. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, managing technical teams, and maintaining system performance, security, and compliance in a mission-critical environment.

DUTIES

Program & Project Management

· Lead day-to-day execution of the O&M program, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and performance objectives

· Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocations

· Provide weekly and monthly status reporting on progress, risks, issues, and deliverables

Operations & Delivery Oversight

· Oversee application operations, maintenance, and enhancements

· Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests

· Monitor system performance and availability

Team Leadership

· Manage cross-functional teams including developers, DBAs, and support staff

· Define roles and responsibilities across the team

Stakeholder Management

· Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders

· Lead regular meetings for status updates and planning

Release & Change Management

• Coordinate releases, patches, and enhancements
• Manage change control processes

Risk & Compliance

• Identify and manage risks and dependencies
Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· 8+ years of experience in IT project or program management

· Experience managing application O&M or production support programs

· Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/DevOps practices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in federal or regulated environments

· Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)

· PMP or Scrum certification
