Job Title: MA/LPN Clinic Float, Clinic in SW Missouri
About the Job:
ACCESS Family Care is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Clinic Float to join our team! This position provides clinical and administrative support across multiple clinic locations. If you are a compassionate and adaptable healthcare professional who enjoys working in diverse settings, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient intake, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit.
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations per provider orders.
- Perform diagnostic tests, specimen collection, EKGs, and other clinical tasks.
- Assist providers with minor procedures and treatments.
- Educate patients on medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, referrals, and supply management.
- Travel to clinic located throughout SW Missouri as needed
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Certification/Licensure:
- MA: Certification (CMA, RMA) preferred.
- LPN: Active MO state licensure required.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Proficient in English/Spanish +
- Experience: 2+ year of experience in a clinic or outpatient setting preferred.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with EHR systems.
- Reliable transportation to travel between clinic locations.
- ACCESS Family Care conducts pre-employment drug testing in accordance with state and federal laws.
