Working across schools and departments, the Performance Systems Analyst develops meaningful performance metrics, builds accessible data systems and dashboards, facilitates data literacy, and partners with leaders to transform information into action. The role supports implementation of Acero's Data Literacy Framework by strengthening leaders' capacity to use data to improve outcomes for students, teachers, and schools.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring data accuracy and operational excellence. This position serves as a key partner to school leaders and central office staff by providing timely, actionable information that supports educator effectiveness and professional growth.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and monitor the annual teacher evaluation process across all schools.
- Track evaluation timelines, observation completion, goal-setting activities, and summative evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records related to teacher evaluations and performance management activities.
- Monitor compliance with evaluation requirements and communicate progress toward completion to school leaders.
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports related to educator evaluation performance metrics.
- Serve as the primary administrator for TeachBoost, unified insights platforms and related systems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, system configurations, evaluation templates, and annual platform setup.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity within TeachBoost and related systems.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate with systems support as needed.
- Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and system documentation.
- Collect, validate, analyze, and maintain educator evaluation data from multiple sources.
- Develop and publish dashboards and reports related to teacher evaluations, observation completion, and educator effectiveness metrics.
- Identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern within evaluation data and communicate findings to leadership.
- Support data requests from school leaders, Human Resources, and academic teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Provide training and ongoing support to school leaders and staff on processes and functionality.
- Respond to questions and technical issues related to teacher evaluation systems and reporting.
- Collaborate with school leaders, Central Office staff and the DOSA team to ensure evaluation data is complete, accurate, and actionable.
- Support the implementation of updates and improvements to evaluation processes and systems.
- Evaluate existing teacher evaluation data collection and reporting processes and recommend improvements.
- Assist in developing standardized procedures for educator evaluation tracking and reporting.
- Support special projects related to performance management, educator effectiveness, and organizational data initiatives.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree (strongly preferred).
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in performance systems analysis, operations, education administration or a related role.
- Advanced coursework or degree in statistical analysis (education statistics preferred).
- Experience using statistical analysis software (SPSS), relational databases (SQL Server) and/or reporting tools (Tableau, SharePoint, etc.).
- Capability for self-directed work and excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking with the ability to identify meaningful trends and patterns beyond reporting data.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Ability to develop and build organizational capacity by enabling others to effectively interpret and use data for decision making.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (required).
