ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adventist Health Sonora is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join our cardiology team in building a program in a community with a great need.
- Join an established non-interventional cardiologist and two nurse practitioners
- Brand new state of the art Cath-lab and Interventional Cardiology program
- Opportunity to help grow interventional cardiology program
Responsibilities:
- Intra-arterial lines insertion and management
- Percutaneous coronary intervention, cardiac catheterization and angiography
- Pericardiocentesis
- Echocardiography Interpretation
- Temporary trans venous pacemaker placement
- Stress test interpretation
- Fluoroscopy privileges and certification
- Central venous line insertion and management
- Interpret EKGs
- Debulking devices including CSI atherectomy, rotablator, laser Angiojet for intervention for cardiovascular diseases
- Interpret holter monitors
- Incumbent will be expected to practice in accordance with professional standards, core values, and with a commitment to service excellence
- Intra-aortic balloon pump insertion and management
- Peripheral arterial interventions
- Arterial puncture
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience preferred, but not required
- Fellowship trained and BC/BE in Interventional Cardiology
- At least Level 2 training in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography & preferably vascular ultrasonography
- Level 3 training in cardiac catheterization and intervention, peripheral interventional training is preferred but not required
- Additional training in cardiac MRI/CT a plus
- Candidate must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards

COMPENSATION
- Wage Scale: $540,000 - $794,248/year

Total compensation may vary based on additional services, including call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, etc. Compensation may also vary based on productivity after initial guarantee period.
