Our Blythewood, South Carolina facility supports a BMW EV battery repack operation and is part of AESC's growing North American manufacturing footprint. We are building a high-performance team committed to quality, safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
AESC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced manufacturing equipment at our Repack facility. This is a hands-on technical role with strong growth potential — early hires will support new equipment installation and become technical trainers for future team members.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, robotics, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Program, modify, and maintain PLC systems (Omron and Siemens preferred)
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation using the CMMS work order system
- Train and mentor less experienced team members on equipment best practices
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma required; Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field preferred
- 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, including 2+ years with PLCs
- Strong troubleshooting background with robotics, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and blueprints
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Leadership potential and ability to mentor and train others

Work Environment
