Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in agricultural fabrication, manufacturing, industrial construction, estimating, or sales preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with SolidWorks preferred
• Knowledge of industrial construction, manufacturing, fabrication, or agricultural processing industries
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Valid driver's license required
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, vendor locations, and industry trade events as needed

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate project opportunities, gather site information, and help develop scopes of work that meet customer needs
• Collaborate with engineering and customers to define project requirements, develop concepts, and support accurate estimating.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from customer-provided and internally developed drawings
• Estimate costs for equipment, structural steel, buildings, concrete, earthwork, and related project components
• Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and obtain competitive subcontractor bids
• Consolidate project costs into formal customer quotes
• Manage multiple estimates and sales opportunities while developing proposals, tracking leads, and ensuring timely customer follow-up.
• Utilize CRM software to log and monitor all leads, estimates, and quotes.
• Build customer relationships, identify solutions, generate new business opportunities, and support sales growth across target markets.
• Coordinate project handoffs and communicate project requirements to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction.
