We’re seeking licensed veterinary consultants to join our expanding telehealth network. If you’re passionate about supporting pet parents and can commit 4+ hours per week, this fully remote role could be a great fit.
In this role, you’ll provide peace of mind and expert guidance to pet parents through scheduled telehealth visits, all from the comfort of your home.
- Monitoring our portal, conducting scheduled visits, fielding teletriage requests, and responding to inquiries with empathy and professionalism
- Conducting video and chat visits about canine and feline health problems
- Completing follow-ups, including case documentation and administrative tasks
Ensuring compliance with Airvet’s best practices, service-level agreements (SLAs), and visit guidelines - Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and address operational challenges
- Taking on additional duties as needed to support the Care Team
- 2+ years of clinical experience as a veterinarian
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Active Veterinarian License in the United States or a Canadian Province license
- Carry your own Active personal professional liability insurance
- A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
- A smartphone and either a desktop computer or a laptop are necessary
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to follow training and protocol
- Comfortable using desktop and mobile apps; highly proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with sound judgment
- Adaptable and energized by a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
- A compassionate communicator and creative problem-solver who strives to deliver outstanding client experiences
- Creative problem-solver who continuously seeks improvements.
