Responsibilities:

• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing HVAC systems
• Troubleshooting defective HVAC systems and equipment to make diagnoses
• Performing preventative maintenance by cleaning reheat coils and air handling units, and monitoring and calibrating air handling units
• Ensuring the condensation drain line is free of debris and draining properly
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Keeping daily logs and records of maintenance functions
• Maintaining service truck
• Create a positive customer experience by completing the service correctly the first time with quality and care to applicable codes, to avoid refunds and recalls
• Consistently provide accurate TruTransparency pricing
• Mentor and develop technicians under his/her care to achieve the desired performance metrics
• Perform a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection including Health and Safety Checklist and communicate findings to the customer in a written option sheet
• Support technicians and apprentices on troubleshooting issues as needed
• Complete all required documentation on services and collect, record, and deliver fees to designated office administration
• Responsible to contact dispatch to disposition recall and warranty jobs to assure they are recorded correctly

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC issues
• Universal EPA Certificate
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able and willing to take and pass a drug screen and background check
• Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
• Ability to work limited on-call hours
• Physically agile, dexterous, and able to work in confined spaces
