- Laundry Services: Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and residents' personal clothing, ensuring all items are cleaned according to facility standards.
- Sorting & Inventory: Sort and organize laundry based on type and owner. Maintain accurate records of resident laundry requests and items.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensure laundry rooms are kept clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Follow all safety and sanitation protocols when handling laundry equipment.
- Supply Management: Assist with maintaining an adequate supply of linens and clothing for residents. Report any shortages to management.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure that laundry operations are carried out efficiently and that residents’ needs are met in a timely manner.
- Resident Engagement: Handle resident laundry with care, ensuring their items are returned in a timely and respectful manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience (preferred)
- Ability to operate laundry equipment and follow cleaning guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
