Job Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of automation projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer expectations, manage project budgets, timelines, and quality standards, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead automation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline adherence.
Proactively manage project risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement solutions.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to report progress and resolve project challenges.
Work closely with engineers, developers, and vendors to maintain workflow efficiency.
Optimize project processes and identify areas for continuous improvement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
3-7 years of project management experience, preferably in automation, manufacturing, or industrial solutions.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
Experience managing budgets, project timelines, and quality expectations.
Proficiency in project management tools.
Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Possess a general understanding in the areas of mechanical engineering (tooling design, machining processes); electrical engineering (controls & automation) & machine building practices. The Project Manager needs a solid technical understanding to enable them to maintain all the things necessary for the project.
