Amplitude HR is currently hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for a leading automotive plastic injection molding manufacturer in Port Huron, MI. We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional with experience troubleshooting and repairing injection molding equipment, auxiliary systems, and automated manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
- Set up and maintain preventive maintenance schedules using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Create, update, and complete maintenance work orders accurately.
- Coordinate equipment repairs and communicate with equipment manufacturers when necessary.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and order replacement components as needed.
- Assist with machine installations, equipment upgrades, and plant improvement projects.
- Support robotics and automation equipment maintenance.
- Work closely with production and management to schedule maintenance activities while minimizing downtime.
- Travel occasionally to assist with equipment installations or support other facilities when needed.
- Assist with quality-related activities such as inspections, sorting, and production support when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA and company safety standards.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with plastic injection molding equipment strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of:
- Hydraulic systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Mechanical repairs
- Auxiliary processing equipment
- Experience with robotics and automation is preferred.
- Comfortable using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license required.
