We're looking for a skilled, customer-focused phlebotomist ready to run the show — either an experienced clinical manager, or a strong lead/senior phlebotomist ready to grow into full location management with our support and training.
What You'll Do
Clinical Leadership
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection (blood, urine, hair, saliva) as the location's lead collector
- Ensure proper labeling, processing, and shipping of specimens to reference laboratories
- Train and mentor Medical Assistants and Phlebotomy Technicians on SOPs and safety protocols
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations: opening/closing, inventory, and maintaining a clean, professional retail environment
- Manage daily cash reconciliation and billing for corporate accounts
- Monitor location budget and performance goals
Customer Experience & Growth
- Deliver a welcoming, confidential, and discreet experience for every customer
- Resolve customer inquiries and guide them to the right testing options
- Build local business partnerships (employer drug testing programs, wellness screenings) to grow revenue
Compliance
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA requirements
What You'll Need
- Current California CDPH Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPT I) license — required. CPT II a plus.
- Confident, skilled venipuncture technique across diverse patient populations
- 2+ years of experience as a lead/senior phlebotomist, or supervisory experience in healthcare, lab services, or retail, strongly preferred — we will train the right clinician to step into full management
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a customer-first mindset
- Comfort learning Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and standard office software
- CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) credential a plus

- $28.00 – $38.00/hour based on experience — candidates growing into the manager role start toward the lower end, with a defined step-up once they take on full operational responsibility
