Apex Heart and Vascular Center, founded in 2018, is a fast-growing prominent cardiovascular practice in New Jersey with four different office locations! We are looking for a talented person to hit the ground running as an office manager committed to our patients, mission, and values.
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree + extensive experience is required. Healthcare Administration Degree is preferred
- Previous office management experience running multiple office locations
- Experience in a medical office (a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
- Finding ways to increase efficiency
- Exceptional people skills
- Charming and energetic personality (social skills/people’s person)
- Must have leadership qualities
- Strong ability to multitask
- Understand insurance benefits
- Experience with EMR's & computers
- Have exceptional organizational skills
- Strong ability to problem-solve
- Ability to drive to multiple offices within NJ
- Have basic knowledge in healthcare
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily office flow from open-to-close
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
- Act as HR (ability to resolve conflicts)
- Supervise front office staff
- Billing/insurance oversight
- Manage daily staffing to ensure optimal operation of the practice
- Monitor and approve time cards
- Track licensure requirements for staff
- Problem-solving
- Working closely with the founder/MD for any other needs
- Inventory management of medical supplies
- Available by phone during after hours (if needed)
- Oversee marketing department
- Manage multiple providers
- Bilingual: Spanish (Preferred)
