CPG Business AnalystNYC Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President Retail Media, the Business Analyst will have responsibility for managing and analyzing digital marketing campaigns for CPG clients. The position will also support data insights development for AppCard’s CPG platform. The role is ideally based in our Manhattan office. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, hard-worker and has strong organizational skills. Success in the role will require strong analytical skills to fully understand the diverse needs of a wide variety of CPG campaigns and tailor insights and reporting unique to each account. Duties Analyze digital marketing campaign data to calculate iROAS, sales lift, shopper segmentation and other metrics. Generate CPG insights reports to track brand performance across the AppCard network. Persuasively articulate the value that AppCard can bring to CPGs through demonstrable ROI and marketing practices. Build and enhance analytical models to analyze campaign performance. Analyze platform data to generate actionable insights that enhance the value of AppCard and measurably improve media performance. Set up digital coupon and marketing campaigns within AppCard internal systems. Liaise with external clients to create digital coupon campaigns and associated marketing efforts. Juggle numerous internal activities while ensuring that CPG campaigns are effectively programmed and executed. Interpret and present campaign results using AppCard’s data warehousing and business intelligence tools. Manage shelf tag production for digital coupons. Develop a deep understanding of the CPG industry. Collaborate with data, marketing, retailers and account management teams across AppCard to run campaigns. Execute work requests from the SVP Retail Media and Chief Growth Officer. Conduct yourself in a manner that reflects company values. Qualifications 1+ years successful business analytics experience in providing data/marketing/technology solutions to the CPG or grocery retail industry, preferably in digital coupon, shopper marketing and/or interactive digital media marketing. Excellent data analysis skills using Excel and/or Python. Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams. Solid understanding of the digital landscape. Strong digital skills (media, promotion, online and mobile, shopper and analytics). Passion for creating value for customers, deep understanding of industry level data media buying, and client ROI. Ability to remain focused and flexible during rapid change. Effective communication across multiple levels of an organization. Works well in a team/highly collaborative environment.
