Physical Therapist – Join Our Team and Make a Difference!
Per diem, part-time, or full-time (with benefits) Monday through Friday between hours of 8:30am and 3:30 pm
Arc Broward is looking for a Physical Therapist for our 3-5 year old students who have developmental disabilities and other health impairments.
Essential Job Functions/Duties
The physical Therapist is responsible for provision of quality physical therapy services including:
- assessment, therapeutic treatment planning and service delivery using best practice treatment modalities for children to facilitate age-appropriate independence in gross motor coordination, balance, strengthening activities, and motor planning activities
- developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and monitoring the progress of each child through analysis of data and making necessary modifications
- evaluating physical and social environmental conditions for optimal function, learning, independence, health, and stability
- demonstrating and modeling effective and therapeutic intervention strategies
- providing coaching and consultation to staff for continuity and generalization across settings
- collaborating with all members of the team
- assessing, recommending, and ensuring that children are provided with proper adaptive equipment

- Physical therapy degree from accredited university and state PT license.
