Job Title: Member Assistant
Location: Army Navy Country Club - Arlington, VA
Department: Food and Beverage
Reports To: Restaurant Manager/Assistant Restaurant Manager
About Army Navy Country Club:
Army Navy Country Club is a prestigious private, member-owned institution with a history dating back to 1924. Spanning 488 acres across two campuses located in Arlington and Fairfax, Virginia. As a Member Assistant at Army Navy Country Club (ANCC), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming experience for our members.
Essential Functions:
- Set and clean dining room tables in order to assist servers in providing quality and timely food and beverage service to members and guests.
- Essential Functions
- Pour water in guests’ glasses
- Remove soiled dishes from tables and bring them to dish washing area
- Wipe tables and chairs, and clean surrounding area
- Set tables with silverware, glasses and other items according to ANCC standards
- Serve bread, popcorn, soft drinks, and coffee
Qualification Standards:
Education: Some High School required.
Experience: No experience required.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Lift 20lbs
General availability:
- Must be available Wednesday–Saturday between 10:00 AM–11:00 PM and Sunday between 7:00 AM–11:00 PM
- Year-round availability required, including holidays
- Flexibility to work varying shifts based on business needs
