The Portfolio Management Division at STScI is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for successfully leading and managing projects and performing analysis of business processes and information. STScI’s portfolio management division expects project managers to support the full enterprise across science operations, business operations, engineering, software development, etc. Project managers are expected to utilize business analysis skills to improve the enterprise’s ability to operate efficiently. Additionally, project managers should be able to use their analysis to improve execution on their projects and strategic priorities.
This is a hybrid position, with three days a week on-site in Baltimore, Maryland. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to our local market. (MD, DE, VA, PA, DC & WV). This position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Residence in order to meet ITAR requirements.

Education/ Experience/Certifications:
Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and three years’ project management experience. PMI certification(s) such as PMP, ACP and experience working across multiple projects is preferred. Business analysis experience or experience analyzing and improving operations is preferred. Note: Substitution of additional relevant education or experience for stated qualifications may be considered. The starting position and salary are commensurate with education and experience.
