Astria Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team! This position is located at our Astria Toppenish Hospital in the Emergency Department.
Shift: 12 Hour Mid Shift. - More shift information will be provided during interview.
What you get to do every day!
The Registered Nurse utilities the nursing process to manage and coordinate the interdisciplinary care of patients of all ages, including pediatric, adult and geriatric. The RN provides individualized care to the patient, family and caregivers and is competent and knowledgeable to provide care to the patient population served. You will:
- Works within the Scope of Practice as defined by RCW Chapter 18.79, WAC 246-840-700, and WAC 246-840-705
- Performs brief physical assessment on each patient assigned, ongoing assessment of vital signs, laboratory results and other pertinent data and prioritizes course of nursing action.
- Effectively communicates significant aspects of patient care and progress in a clear, concise, and timely manner to the physician
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care needs.
- Responds promptly to changes in workload, adjusting assignments as necessary to achieve optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Assesses patient systematically, identifying, and prioritizing physiological, psychosocial, environmental, socioeconomic, cultural, educational, spiritual and D/C planning needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
- Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current WA State RN License
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire
- TNCC within one year of hire
Preferred Qualifications and Education.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Certified Emergency Nurse Specialty

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive compensation range for candidates hired into each position. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. This position is associated with a union contract.
