We are currently hiring a part-time Janitor in Auburn Hills, MI.
Schedule:
- Part-time, Monday-Friday 6pm-9pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain designated building areas:
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping
- Cleaning ceiling vents, restroom sanitation, and general surface cleaning
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure spaces are tidy and hygienic
- Report any maintenance issues or repair needs to your supervisor promptly.
- Notify the onsite supervisor of any deficiencies or safety hazards observed during shifts.
- Cooperate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations and a clean, organized environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Skills and Qualifications:
- Commercial cleaning experience with knowledge of janitorial practices and procedures
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and safe chemical handling
- Ability to lift, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs, and stand or walk for long periods
- Strong communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members and supervisors
- High level of integrity, punctuality, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must pass a standard background check and have reliable transportation
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
