As a BD/PI Services Manager with AWC, you will work directly with inside team, customer service, technical account managers, business development, and our technology partners to meet customer needs. You will strive to leverage solutions dedicated to enhancing efficiency, safety, and productivity for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a background or be recognized as Temperature SME along with managing instrumentation style services. Candidates must have proven track record of leading and supporting teams to success in Louisiana market and/or similar market.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Grow into SME for WIKA Engineered Temperature Products in Business Development Role (BD). Manage and grow relationship with our Technology Partner WIKA. Become primary point of contact for our existing and new clients for WIKA Engineered Temperature Products for inquiries and support
- Manage, promote, and expand AWC PI Internal Services which would include our Seal Shop, Probe shop, etc.
- Intimate learning of our AWC Business system from Sales & Operations perspective
- Provide technical expertise to AWC Technical Account Managers and customers. This includes presentations, field surveys, product selection, sizing and trouble shooting
- Be able to make AWC product recommendations to customers and help them identify the best technology to solve their needs
- Coordinate with internal AWC departments, including service shops, engineering, materials management, and logistics, to ensure timely delivery and installation of products
- Participate in the development and implementation of sales plans and campaigns for our tech partners.
- As Manager you will review our service processes to ensure that internal and external quality standards are followed and offer suggestions to increase efficiency
Skills you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or direct Business-related experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in account management, inside sales, or business development within the industrial controls and automation industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and relationship-building
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be a team player with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
- Willingness to be on call for after-hours & weekend support periodically
