Baptist Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Baymeadows Primary Care office located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM.
The ideal candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting the provider.
Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:
Provides medical assistance to physicians
Obtains vital signs
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
Maintains medical documentation
Uses excellent customer service skills
Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
Processes prescription requests and referrals
Experience Requirements:
2+ years Patient Care Experience
Experience in Physician's office
Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED Required
Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
