Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center is actively seeking a Full-Time Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team. This is a Full-time Days position in our outpatient clinic. Individuals with a defined emphasis in oncology nursing and patient focused are sought to join our team to support our patients, physicians and our three clinics.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience (inpatient or clinic) with a passion for oncology care. A background in radiation, surgical and procedural nursing is a plus. The primary purpose of the Oncology Nurse position is to positively affect patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting evidence based direct patient care across the continuum of care. Working closely with the physician to ensure the highest quality of patient care and the appropriate use of resources is achieved in collaboration of the interdisciplinary team. Assisting with clinic procedures (i.e., scopes and brachytherapy cases). Excellent communication and writing skills are a must for this position.

As Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse, you will:
- Work to positively affect patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting evidence based direct patient care across the continuum of care.
- Work closely with the physician to ensure the highest quality of patient care and the appropriate use of resources is achieved while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Have excellent communication and writing skills.
Registered Nurse Experience:
1-2 years Nursing Experience Required
Oncology Experience Preferred
Education & Credential Requirements:
Associate of Science in Nursing Required
Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required
Driver's Licensed Required
