What you'll do:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, brakes, alignments, and tire services
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems such as engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, heating and electrical
- Conduct multi-point inspections and provide accurate repair and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and customers regarding vehicle status and needed repairs
- Stay current with manufacturer training and industry certifications
- Uphold Basil's commitment to quality workmanship and outstanding customer service
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair software
- NYS inspectors license preferred
- Familiarity with modern vehicle systems and repair tool
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset
