Role Description
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dedicated team in Baytown, TX. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy services, support patients with communication challenges, and assist in achieving their therapeutic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech therapy sessions following treatment plans designed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist in diagnosing and treating communication and language disorders.
- Implement therapy techniques for patients with speech, language, and articulation disorders.
- Provide support for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools and techniques.
- Prepare materials and documentation for therapy sessions and progress tracking.
- Communicate with patients and families about therapy strategies and home-based exercises.

Required:
- Licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the state of Texas.
- Strong proficiency in implementing therapy strategies for communication and language disorders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse population.
Preferred:
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of assistive technology for communication.
- Experience in outpatient healthcare or rehabilitation settings.
