Bessemer Investors is a continuation of the Phipps family's more than century-long history of private capital investing. The Phipps family, who trace their wealth back to Henry Phipps's business partnership with Andrew Carnegie in Carnegie Steel, has a long-standing track record of establishing and supporting leading private investment firms such as Bessemer Venture Partners and Lindsay Goldberg.
