Position Summary:
To service and maintain all properties owned and maintained by Big Y Foods. Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Work with energy management systems and control energy costs. Cooperate with other Facilities Management technicians to coordinate, discuss and assist them in projects requiring specific skills.

- Working knowledge of trade tools and accountable for all Company property assigned for use on the job.
- Successful completion from HVAC/R Trade school, EPA certification required (Universal Certification preferred).
- Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Be a team player with a positive attitude, able to work within company policies and procedures. Possess good listening and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks independently; self-motivated.
- Possess good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, be organized, accurate and detail-oriented with good follow through skills.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and adhere to federal and state regulations.
- Employees who wish to transfer to Facilities Management must consent to and pass a drug screen upon offer.
