- Research and resolve routine invoice, payment, cash, payroll, or account discrepancies.
- Support month-end close by gathering documentation, preparing schedules, and completing assigned tasks.
- Serve as a support link between field operations and the corporate office for accounting questions, documentation requests, and transaction research.
- Assist with internal controls by following accounting policies, approval procedures, and documentation standards.
- Crosstrain in multiple accounting areas, including AP, AR, payroll accounting, reconciliations, and general ledger support.
- Assist with other projects, tasks, and duties as assigned.
- Education or work experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred.
- Ability to learn multiple accounting functions and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative accounting team environment.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and improve processes.
