Position Summary/Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator role is responsible for:
- Coordinate and manage agency-wide communications and public-facing media through the development and maintenance of BRBH and community coalition websites and digital platforms.
- Focus on front-end WordPress development, search engine optimization (SEO), analytics integration, and domain and hosting oversight to ensure websites are user-friendly, effective, and aligned with BRBH goals.
- Design, schedule, and implement digital and print media across social media and web platforms to support consistent branding, trauma-informed messaging, and grant-funded prevention strategies. Develop and maintain internal systems for content workflows, reporting, and design implementation to support engagement and efficiency.
- Collaborate with BRBH staff and external partners, including the agency's marketing contractor, to coordinate media campaigns and outreach efforts that reflect BRBH's mission and behavioral health priorities. Use evidence-based strategies and prevention best practices in media messaging to support positive mental health and reduce substance use risk factors across the community.
Hiring Range
The anticipated base salary for this position is $40,679.83 to $50.849.79. Actual compensation offered within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities), geographic location, complexity of role, and other relevant business considerations. We kindly ask that candidates do not discuss compensation until after an offer of employment is extended.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in digital communications, marketing, or public relations with a strong focus on website design, management, and social media strategy. Demonstrated experience coordinating digital content and campaigns across multiple platforms and stakeholders, preferably in a nonprofit, public health, or behavioral health setting.
- Background Check: Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection.
- Safe Driving Record: This position requires transporting clients or driving agency vehicles. Candidates must have a good driving record, which is defined as no more than two moving violations in the last three years and no criminal moving violations in the last five years.
Special Work Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee regularly is required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and reach with arms and hands. The employee frequently lifts and or moves up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Specific hearing required by this job includes normal tones.
