Position: Dishwasher
Our Dishwashers are a key part of our team, and critical to providing genuine hospitality. They are energetic, excited to grow in the hospitality industry and care about their team.
Dishwashers are responsible for optimum cleanliness of the entire kitchen. This includes proper care of all dishware, cutlery, pots, and pans. The Dishwasher’s job extends past the dish room by upkeep of all food prep areas, coolers, storage areas, and restrooms. You are responsible for working closely with the Chef team to establish a safe, sanitary environment for all staff and guests.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Functions:
- Support kitchen operations by unloading deliveries to company standard with consideration to cooler and storage etiquette
- Responsible for the breakdown of all boxes and proper placement of all supplies
- Duties extend into general maintenance of the property
- Maintain dumpster areas and any outside areas surrounding restaurant
- Support Chef team in all necessary capacity
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans based on individual specific needs
- Replace clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment based on zones and station requirements
- Know and use proper chemicals with exact handling instruction
- Upkeep of all trashcans and linen bins with attention to detail and cleanliness of all cans (includes proper disposal)
- Upkeep of Dish machine and Sanitizer
- Upkeep of all utility maintenance not limited to: Floor, wall, cooler, equipment, workstation, and employee restroom
- Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and uniform standards
- Follow safety regulations, reporting injuries or any unsafe and hazardous work conditions to Chefs
- Keep all chemicals in designated location
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must exemplify a team player with a contagious positive attitude
- Enjoys working in a fast paced, energy driven, kitchen environment with a focus on multi-tasking Must be able to take on a leadership role and accept feedback and coaching
- Executes perfect company safety and sanitation standards
- Always presents a positive and professional attitude, especially during high stress situations
Hours of Work: Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends.

Work Environment/Physical Demand:
- Must be able to stand for full shift
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must have good hearing for accurate communication with guests
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects, tools controls and type
- Must be able to work in areas of loud noises
- Required to frequently reach, bend, stoop, and carry
- Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments; indoors and outdoors
- Must be able to tolerate potential exposure to allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish
- Extended periods of standing and walking to different parts of the restaurant at different levels
- Fast paced hands on position
- Dining facilities are both outside and inside. Lighting is maintained at a low level.
