Manages the outpatient care of women with essentially normal pregnancy, including post-partum.
Manages the outpatient GYN care of women, including contraception.
Participates in precepting and teaching of medical students and midwifery students.
Ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients’ needs.
Knowledge of growth and development.
Understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients.
- Extensive experience in OB nursing, preferred
Experience in outpatient setting in OB/GYN as a midwife, preferred
Graduate from an accredited school for Midwifery.
Certification as a Midwife, CNM or CM (Legally Required ) (Policy Requirement)
Licensed to practice Midwifery in the State of New York (Legally Required) (Policy Requirement)
