Elementary Teacher Job Responsibilities:
- An Elementary Teacher will accept the philosophy of Cadence Education and work as part of the teaching team to encourage a positive learning environment for all students within the center
- Develop lesson plans that provide everything needed to build a strong foundation for students
- Provide social interaction and developmentally appropriate skill-based activities to help students thrive this year and well into the future
- Encourage and model positive social behavior and expectations
- Maintain a clean, safe academically appropriate environment that provides a space for students to excel
- Adhere to enhanced safety measures
- Communicate regularly with parents
- Collaborate with other passionate teachers and leaders to implement an engaging, challenging and yet, developmentally appropriate curriculum
Elementary Teacher Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree preferred
- High level of flexibility and willingness to adapt to change
- Ability to adhere to a consistent 5 day a week schedule
- Demonstrated professionalism and classroom management skills
- Previous experience as an Elementary teacher preferred
