JOB SUMMARY
Maintains accuracy, efficiency, and composure during peak volumes, ensuring all orders are executed correctly and promptly. Engages with guests in a friendly, attentive manner, anticipates needs, and contributes to a positive and engaging nightlife atmosphere.
Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, including proper handling of cash, credit transactions, and inventory controls. Works collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and consistent service quality while upholding all safety and compliance requirements.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
- Ensures the bar is stocked with all supplies and liquor in assigned area. Maintains prescribed PAR levels for beginning and ending inventory for each shift. Calculates ending inventories each month.
- Provides fast, efficient, courteous and professional service.
- Adheres to department policy on number of orders and drinks to be served at one time. Monitors and coaches servers to assure they are utilizing proper “Call Order” as needed
- Prepares drinks according to prescribed recipes.
- Rings in all prepared drinks on register, following established procedures.
- Accounts for assigned bank, all money received and all transactions recorded during shift.
- Maintains assigned station in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with department service standards and job functions.
- Keeps informed of new promotional beverage programs, as well as, property events and promotions.
- Reads and initials all posted department memos.
- Required to rotate into other positions as needed, ie: door host or service bartender, and assisting in other essential areas of the Nightclub.
- Assists and takes direction from Nightclub Manager to ensure the highest level of service in all areas.
- Required to interact with guests in an upbeat, enthusiastic and positive manner by creating an entertaining atmosphere while serving customers at assigned station through a focused, professional and attentive service experience. Expectation for focused and attentive service is that the Bartender spend 95% plus of their time in their designated Bar area.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of Caesars Entertainment Inc. Bar School and 2 years of experience or equivalent experience
- Fluent and literate in English
- Must be 21 or older
- Abilities to accurately handle cash
- Excellent communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
- Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Mobility to move quickly around the station
- Ability to stand for eight hours
- Ability to bend, squat and reach
- Dexterity to operate cash register and to prepare drinks
- Ability to lift to 90 lbs.
- Visual and auditory range must include immediate environment
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a dark environment
- Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures
- Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
- Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, extreme noise, bright lights
