Citrus Cardiology Consultants is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiovascular team in Inverness, Florida.
This is a hospital-based cardiology position offering a 7-on/7-off daytime schedule and the opportunity to work alongside experienced cardiologists in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Providers will participate in inpatient cardiovascular care, hospital rounding, consults, and ongoing patient management while gaining exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in the hospital setting
- Participate in daily hospital rounding and inpatient cardiovascular care
- Perform cardiovascular consults and follow-up evaluations
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, laboratory studies, imaging, and stress testing
- Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications
- Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Cardiology or acute care experience preferred but not required
