Summary:
A Production Specialist uses hand tools and machines to assemble a variety of products following standardized methods. He/She must also be able to achieve the daily production goals, meet quality standards and follow safety procedures.
Production Specialist 1 works in a variety of positions in work cells and must have supervision when doing changeovers and setups.
Primary Responsibilities (essential functions):
- Follow all Safety rules on production floor
- Able to do repetitive motion with hands to accomplish tasks for 8-10 hour shift
- Stand or Sit for 8-10 hour shift
- Able to load and push buttons on a machine to perform a tasks
- Able to work with a team of individuals to accomplish assembly of products
- Able to work around heated equipment
Secondary Responsibilities (marginal functions):
- Assist in performing changes on given machines
- Assist in shop floor clean up
- Assist in material restocking
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to sit or stand for 8-10 hour per day
- Must be able to perform repetitive motion using arms, hands, and wrists.
- Must be able to lift 10lbs repeatably
Skills:
- Good hand eye coordination
- Attention to detail
Working Conditions:
- 8-10 hours sitting, standing, and/or moving
- Safety Glasses Required
