POSITION OVERVIEW: The Central Falls School District seeks to hire an energetic, innovative, and caring educator to serve as a full-time Secondary Special Educator / Content Area Interventionist (ELA) at Central Falls High School. The successful candidate will create an engaging learning environment, provide individualized instruction and interventions, collaborate with educators and families, and ensure students with disabilities have access to rigorous grade-level curriculum. The district offers ongoing professional development opportunities.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES /DUTIES: Coordinate special education services with educators, related service providers, and administrators.Develop and implement accommodations and modifications for students, including language supports for multilingual learners.Co-plan and co-teach with classroom teachers.Monitor student progress and maintain RtI, 504, Service Plan, and IEP documentation.Provide specialized instruction aligned to students' IEP goals.Coordinate evaluations, reevaluations, progress reports, and timelines.Utilize district curriculum and technology-based interventions.Maintain adaptive/assistive technology as appropriate.Follow all RIDE regulations related to multilingual learners with disabilities.Analyze assessment data to inform instruction.Maintain a positive learning environment.Communicate regularly with families.Perform other duties assigned by administration in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
