Working collaboratively with medical, psychiatric, operational, and community partners, the Clinical Director ensures the delivery of integrated, patient-centered behavioral health services while advancing strategic goals, expanding access to care, and supporting sustainable program growth. The Clinical Director champions evidence-based practices, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, and fosters a culture of excellence in service delivery and patient outcomes.
The Clinical Director will maintain a clinical caseload, facilitate therapeutic groups, provide comprehensive assessments, coordinate treatment planning, and support the expansion of addiction medicine and behavioral health services throughout the organization.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the interdisciplinary
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling services.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment interventions as clinically indicated.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, state,
- Provide clinical oversight and leadership for behavioral health services.
- Provide clinical consultation, case review, and treatment recommendations to interdisciplinary
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices, clinical standards, and organizational
- Assist in the development, implementation, and expansion of behavioral health and addiction
- Develop and oversee group counseling, psychoeducational programming, and other therapeutic
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives to support program growth and
- Identify opportunities to expand services based on patient and community needs.
- Oversee biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, care coordination, and discharge
- Monitor clinical productivity, patient engagement, and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical providers, care coordinators, and administrative staff to ensure
- Support implementation and optimization of clinical workflows and operational
Group & Intensive Outpatient Services
- Facilitate and oversee psychoeducational, therapeutic, and recovery-oriented groups.
- Develop evidence-based group curricula focused on mental health, substance use disorders, coping
- Assist with the development, implementation, and oversight of Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
evolve.
Quality, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, FQHC, and organizational requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects.
- Monitor documentation quality and conduct clinical chart audits.
- Support accreditation, regulatory audits, and compliance reviews.
- Review and update behavioral health policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
- Foster collaborative relationships with referral sources, hospitals, schools, community
- Participate in outreach activities designed to increase access to behavioral health
- Support development of referral pathways and community partnerships.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience in behavioral health and/or substance
- Prior experience providing clinical oversight and leadership of multidisciplinary
- Experience facilitating behavioral health, psychoeducational, substance use disorder, and
- Experience working within outpatient behavioral health, integrated care, FQHC, IOP, PHP, or
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing,
- Experience treating individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use
- Experience with program development, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical operations
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
