General Function
Plan and organize instructional activities for courses in the Cosmetic Arts, Barbering, and Massage Therapy programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Has working knowledge of multiple academic systems and platforms for data entry.
- Collaborates with instructors to create course outlines and submits CODs and course information in Destiny One.
- Provides instructional design and development for current and new programs.
- Advises and counsel students on a variety of education tracks and alternative courses of action.
- Prepares course schedules, dates and rooms and coordinates with instructors to staff classes.
- Monitors course offerings and recommend additions and changes to keep programs current.
- Assists in planning class schedules which facilitate convenience to students, proofs schedule for
- accuracy and notes need for correction.
- Provides customer service and support to current students and instructors.
- Works with the Executive Director and Program Chairs to design marketing materials to promote programs offered.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree and two years of related work experience
- Proficiency in computer applications.
Bachelor’s degree and experience in any of the Cosmetic Arts, Barbering, and Massage Therapy programs offered
