- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems
- Diagnose and repair equipment, and perform circuit analysis
- Calibrate equipment according to specified standards
- Ensure that equipment and systems meet regulatory and compliance standards
- Participate in safety programs and work in a safe, accurate, and compliant environment
- Initiates work orders pertaining to utilities equipment and information systems, and ensures work orders are accurate and complete
- Ensures compliance with all electrical code requirements
- Performs work on water and wastewater system and related equipment as necessary
- All other duties as assigned

- 5+ years’ experience in electrical and instrumentation including control panels
- Must have water/wastewater experience
- Minimum high school graduate
- Knowledge of Federal, state, and local requirement for utility systems
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy objects of up to 75 pounds
- Exposure to potential hazards such as chemicals, fumes, and odors
- Will work in confined spaces
- Willingness to be on call in emergency situations
