Mental Health Clinician (Part-Time)
Reports to: Director of Population Health

Responsibilities:
For MOMS Stress Management Program:

Lead recruitment, screening and enrollment for MOMS Stress Management Program at Charles B. Wang Community Health Center
-
Plan, coordinate, and co-deliver MOMS groups
- Serve as primary contact for MOMS participants
-
Provide crisis intervention and clinical triage to facilitate necessary services when appropriate
-
Utilize electronic data system to input and retrieve data as well as track/document screenings, assessments, attendance and other program components
-
Engage in MOMS training, technical assistance, and quality assurance activities
-
Coordinate MOMS evaluation activities
-
Participate in MOMS clinical supervision meetings
- Maintain fidelity to the MOMS Partnership® model, its evaluation plan and related activities
-
Coordinate MOMS program team meetings and maintain minutes
-
Assist in the preparation of reports for funders and others as necessary
-
Conduct other related tasks as necessary for MOMS program implementation, administration and evaluation
- Assist Director of Population Health in various duties as needed
For Team UP Program:
-
Engage in Team Up training, technical assistance, quality assurance and evaluation activities

Conduct psychosocial assessments, may include diagnostic interviews
- Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans
- Provide psychotherapeutic and psychoeducational interventions, including direct counseling and psychotherapy, collaborating with members of the integrated care team

Provide crisis intervention
- Periodically reassess symptoms

Provide behavioral support for medical conditions
- Provide case management services
- Provide agency referral and follow up
- Maintain treatment records in accordance with Health Center’s guidelines
- Participate in departmental and agency quality assurance activities
- Attend program and departmental meetings
- Complete required professional training
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited social work school
- New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license required
- Basic CPR (BCLS) Certificate required (Health Center will provide if needed)
- Bilingual Mandarin and English fluency (speaking and reading)
- At least 2 years of experience as a social worker in mental health field

Experience working with groups to provide manualized treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)

Experience working with economically diverse clients experiencing depression; knowledge of and familiarity working with the Chinese community in New York City

Excellent organizational, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines

Strong communication, problem-solving and writing skills
- Organized and attentive to details
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $35.72 - 41.21 per hour
