Monitors gaming facility activities for non-compliance relating to internal controls and safety. Performs gaming machine compliance for vendor repairs, upgrades, installs, removals, and relocations. Prepares and maintains accurate records for machines to maintain compliance with the Gaming Commission.
- Tests vendor approved software and maintains approval database for designated property.
- Performs gaming machine compliance verification and oversight of gaming machine access including installation and daily operation of gaming machine systems.
- Performs gaming machine compliance for vendor repairs, upgrades, installs, removals, and relocations.
- Maintains accurate records on gaming machine data, facility data, key control, and inventory of sensitive gaming devices.
- Visually monitors gaming activities by patrolling gaming area and routinely evaluating gaming floor through surveillance.
- Submits a daily report detailing all completed objectives to Supervisor.
- Monitors compliance by using internal controls and compliance checklists.
- Notifies Supervisor if suspected infractions per surveillance, gaming operations, and other appropriate officials with areas of concern and other violations in performance of compliance reviews and checklists.
- Regulates by utilizing Gaming Commission policy to report regulatory concerns to CNGC Compliance Management.
- Reports to CNGC Management regarding safety concerns or violations.
- Abides by Gaming Commission confidentiality, ethics, Rules and Regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other duties, tasks, or services consistent with this position as assigned.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
- This position does not directly supervise any individuals.
- Assignments received with set guidelines, organizes own work and sets own priorities.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
- Possess or obtain a Cherokee Nation Gaming License and maintain throughout employment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
