Granite Empire of Cincinnati is hiring a Countertop Sales Consultant to help homeowners select granite and quartz countertops and move their projects from initial inquiry to completed sale.
This is a showroom and inside-sales position with company-provided leads. There is no door-to-door selling or cold prospecting.
You will speak with homeowners who have already contacted our company, understand their project needs, prepare estimates, follow up, and close sales.
What You Will Do
- Respond quickly to new leads by phone, text, and email
- Meet customers in our West Chester showroom
- Help homeowners select granite, quartz, quartzite, sinks, and edge profiles
- Review measurements, drawings, and project details
- Prepare and present countertop estimates
- Explain the measurement, fabrication, and installation process
- Follow up consistently with open estimates
- Handle objections and ask for the sale
- Collect deposits and update customer information in our CRM
- Coordinate with our measurement, fabrication, and installation teams
- Provide a professional customer experience from first contact through installation
What We Are Looking For
- At least two years of sales or customer-facing experience
- Strong follow-up and communication skills
- Comfortable discussing pricing and asking customers for deposits
- Able to communicate professionally by phone, text, email, and in person
- Organized and comfortable using a CRM
- Reliable, competitive, and motivated by commission
- Able to work Saturdays
Experience in countertops, cabinets, flooring, appliances, furniture, automotive sales, real estate, or home improvement is preferred but not required.
Training will be provided on our products, pricing, and sales process.
Compensation
- $700 per week base pay
- 4% commission on collected monthly sales below $70,000
- 5% commission on collected monthly sales between $70,000 and $110,000
- 6% commission on collected monthly sales above $110,000
- Expected total compensation: $60,000-$120,000 per year, based on performance
