What’s in it for you:

The Metadata Architect will lead the design and implementation of the enterprise metadata management strategy, ensuring consistent discovery, understanding, and governance of data assets across the organization. This role will establish the metadata operating model, business glossary, data catalog, taxonomy, and stewardship framework while enabling automated metadata harvesting and integration across Azure, GCP, Fabric, Snowflake, analytics, and AI platforms. The architect will serve as a key enabler for trusted data, improved data discoverability, regulatory compliance, and self-service analytics.

Key Responsibilities

- Define enterprise metadata management strategy, standards, and operating model.
- Design and implement business, technical, operational, and data product metadata frameworks.
- Establish enterprise business glossary, data dictionary, taxonomy, and data domain structures.
- Design metadata harvesting and synchronization across Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Power BI, Databricks, and other enterprise systems.
- Define metadata stewardship processes and ownership models.
- Enable automated metadata discovery, classification, and cataloging.
- Experience leveraging Purview and Collibra as a tool for Metadata management to integrate with Data platform.
- Support AI-enabled metadata search, discovery, and data understanding initiatives.
